I had heard a lot about this place so we drove quite a bit to reach here .
But I was quite disappointed ...view is just average nothing exceptional .Horse and camel ride option is there .
Only plus point is it is accessible by vehicle unlike other high altitude points at Mahabaleshwar which have stairs or need climbing .
So it's suitable for senior citizens and young children to visit.
Apparently Monkeys cause a menace here and run away with tourists belongings...but thankfully I did not encounter any monkeys .

Was absolutely mesmerized by visiting this location, the view was just fantastic and I would strongly recommend people to visit this place if you happen to visit Mahabaleshwar

Had been to this scenic point in Mahabaleshwar a long back ago. It is a popular tourist attraction and is visited by tourists.

This point was named after Kate, the daughter of the then British governor, Sir John Malcolm, who used to listen to the echo of her own voice. The former name of the point was Nake Khind. This point provides a stunning view of the Krishna valley and the Dhom Dam. I admired this beautiful scenic point and got a breathtaking view of the surrounding area as a school going child.

This scenic point is an ideal place for families, couples, tourists and friends as well. It is a must visit and should not be missed.

What you get to see from here is the blue stretch of water marking River Krishna, the Dhom Dam and the mountains with green stretch. Views are awesome. You will find some guys with telescope here. You could pay them to see through their telescopes. You get to see the intense beauty of mother Nature.
There's an echo point here as well.

Every Location has one or another same view, but still going there and standing at the egde feels good.
I went in Rainy season, not a good season, but still enjoyed the fog and cold watering breeze.
There are multiple points at this location, one is Elephant Head and i guess there are three more.

The view is interesting, but nothing exceptional. There's nothing here that you wouldn't see just driving around. The road leading up to the point is messed up, parking is a pain, and macaque monkeys abound, so keep no food about you.

This is very near to mahabaleswar central area itself and is a good place to visit. This point provides different views from different angles and below are those
1. Elephants Trunk view
2. Dam view
3. A small waterfall view
4. River flowing from the dam

Above all this area provides you a beautiful valley and the river. Prefer to visit during monsoons to capture the exotic beauty of elephant trunk and the above areas.
