When I visited, the tank was full of weeds and dirt. The Sarovara has many temples around it. While visiting Anantha vasudeva temple, you may see this as well.

Nicely maintained place which has promonade style walkway. Along the walkways good medicinal plantation is maintained by local authorities. You will find different types of plants with nameplates. You can spend good time watching lake birds.

It is better known as Bindu Sagar by the locals.Adjacent to the famous Lingaraj Temple this lake is visited by the devotees in large numbers. It could have been better maintained like the other religious lakes of India.

There is a temple almost at the center of the bindu sarovar, the streams had dried due to climatic changes and during... More

The lake has a great history but unfortunately it is in a state of neglect. The water of the lake is dirty. It is being made more dirty by the locals as they continue to pollute the water. We are told that the corporation has given a contract for removing the filth but the contractor has done half the job... More
