I wish the guides made this spot more interesting by adding anecdotes or even jokes about it. It is a 10 minute stop en-route to desert safari camps. Nothing much to talk about. An opportunity to click a few photos.

This was an eerie place to visit, especially knowing the history. There are efforts to restore some of the buildings which gives you a better idea of how the people lived here. Worth a visit.

The village is between Sam dunes and Jaisalmer city. I would recommend you to visit this village while on your way back from Sam. I would recommend you to carry food or travel back to Jaisalmer for any kind of refreshments
