This house has incredible story, each half was built by two architects at the same time, so you can clearly see the differences. It is indeed a jewel! and the owners are great and proud of their ancestral house.

There are two havelis here. One is old and next to it is the new one. The best part of these havelis are the carvings in the havelis. Jaisalmer will never fail to mesmerise you when it comes to carvings and architecture.

The fine elegance of the constructions, the balance of the façades and the exquisite quality of the stone carvings make a stroll through the town of Jaisalmer really a highlight. All the more so because the town is still very lively (and not a museum)...More

This is an wonderful piece of history standing there, but not much care has been taken to protect it properly. The outside is very dirty with cowdungs and guides are not very educated to tell the good story of the place. They just made up...More

These Havelis are well worth a visit. Most interesting and I would recommend a guide as the history is worth the small amount asked.
