The difference with Udaipur and Jodhpur forts is the fact its maintained by Government and hence entry ticket is Rs 15 only. But on other side you wont find any dress, gun, arrow or anything of that sort here. The light and sound show in evening costs Rs 100 and is a one time watch if you haven't seen such... More

an average fort where you need to just walk uphill and keep going !! If you have been to any other forts you can think of skipping this one.

It's really an answer to The Great Wall of China. We went there from Mount abu which took around 3 hours by road. I must really mention that the roads of Rajasthan are really awesome. Fort is surrounded by a whopping 36 km long wall boundary and the scenic beauty is what one cannot miss. This is the place which... More

The fort is built by Rana Kumbha of Mewar Dynasty. It is also the birthplace of Maharana Pratap. Avoid planning for the fort on a sunny day as it requires a lot of uphill walk. in case there are old people or small children it is not well suited for them. Try for the show at evening. The fort is... More

The fort is built by Rana Kumbha the kind who started the Mewar dynasty. It has a great styling and as they say it was never captured in history.

Good place with lot of stories and historical facts all around. This place with such a rich history could have been better if managed properly. Only a part of the fort is open for visitors, rest is in ruins and there is no proper maintenance to preserve the rich heritage. If govt restore the entire 36 km wall and open... More

Stay some time at the majestic fort. Yes it is a difficult trek...but you lost in time as you climb the majestic fort who stands head up even today. If you are unable to trek the fort still visit the fort marvel the beauty from outside. You can walk across the magnificent fortification wall, which comes second to the great... More

Best to reach there by 4 PM to avoid the Parking issues and also to catch up with the Light & Sound Show at 6.30 PM. Requires lot of walking uphill to the fort so be ready!
