The Nilgiri Mountain Railway toy train is one of the best one of its class in India. We boarded the train early morning from Ooty and the last station is Coonoor. What a breathtaking view. Its a must visit for anyone planing to visit Ooty.

Best train journey one can experience here. The train is a oldest toy train in India. This was the place where, Chaiyya Chaiyya song was shooted from Dil se movie. We had a nice time in this journey,.

We took an hours ride down to Coonor whilst staying at Ooty. When we got off in Coonor we were able to visit the train yards and see them servicing the engines. All added to the experience of this train trip

Have travelled by this train several times from Udhagamandalam to Mettupalayam. What a wonderful site. While passing each cave, tourists starts shouting and it adds to the thrill. Take short trip from Ooty to Coonoor to enjoy it.
