Must visit place, nice gopura, can visit to Pichavaram mangroves, excellent place. In chidambaram lot of options to stay, very nice food we will get

One of the biggest temples in Chidambaram. We were able to get in touch with a priest who took us around the temple and explained the importance behind each idol in a very leisure manner. It takes around 1-1.5 hours to cover the full temple

This temple is spread in 40 acres and is one of the architectural marvel. The city also has Vaideshwar temple.

Salwar kameez with dupatta is advisable. I have seen girls with jeans and tops also there.. But for men, If they want to go inside shrine i.e. nataraja. they have to remove their shirt. thanks
