Visited the place for the 1st time and loved it. This is the light show along with the story of the king who saved Madurai from other kings. Liked it.

I would say about 3 hour if u want also to visit the museum which is really great (be careful museum is closing around lunchtime)

Scheduled show begin at 7pm. But, it is not all days. Due to poor maintenance and scheduling many a time it does not happen.
