This temple with 14 high gopurams and two big garvagrihas is dedicated to devi parvati and lord sundareswar,i.e. shiva.A must visit when you are in madurai. Some wonderful stone carvings and beatiful gopurams are the highlights of this temple.

It's safe to wear a salwwr kameez with dupatta not necessary to wear a sari however enjoy your visit to the temple
