Khaja Sultan Bhadusha Awlia & Khaja Shamsudeen Bhadusha Awlia dharga. While we visiting this place, its can feel peace, soulful touch in our heart. There is masjid also for prayer. Fulfill in our mind.

Nice place to pay the respects of the Oman sultans. However, we went on Friday and there were several destitutes begging and this alarmed my kids.

wonderful and peaceful place for people from all walks of life. You get a feeling of peace and satisfaction when you visit this Dargah. Situation is a prime location, it is easy to find and go. Try the fakirs blessing for any of your problem. You will be happy that you visited this place

I was wandering around the side streets near my hotel when I came upon this exotic and unexpected Muslim building. It wasn't clear to me until I did some research later that it's a mosque and a healing center. The entrance is spare, there were no other tourist-types that I could see, and there wasn't anyone I could ask for... More

Goripalayam Dargah was built in 13th century and is the largest mosque in Madurai. The dargah encompasses graves of two Muslim saints and rulers of Madurai. The saints, Hazrat Sulthan Alauddin Badusha (Radiyallah) and Hazrat Sulthan Shamsuddin Badusha (Radiyallah), belonged to Oman. Located on the northern bank of the River Vaigai, it was believed to be built by Thirumalai Nayak.... More
