Really really liked it a lot, id say its almost as beautiful as the Taj Majal. Enjoyed some great views and such an amazing walk. Even tho I think they shall take better care of the place and restore it and clean it a bit more. The only reason why I give 4 stars is that Indian people always try... More

Most amazing architecture of any of the six forts we visited. The entry gates are magnificent as well as cleverly designed. No one could fail to be impressed with this structure.

Worth a visit, a beautiful "bulding" - full of history but obviously not quite as stunning as the Taj

My family and I went to sight seeing this year to the Agra Fort and the Taj Mahal - not the first time. Here are some tips and advice to ensure you get the best out of your when visiting either attraction. Let's start with the Taj Mahal. As you approach the Taj, you will be offered a ride on... More

Apart from Taj Mahal, Agra Fort is a must-see, when in Agra. It was pretty warm when we were there (November), and we could not imagine what summer would be like there! Definitely some kind of shade would be needed (umbrella; hat). Well worth the visit!

The architectural structure is similar to that of Red Fort in New Delhi. It provides a view of Taj Mahal from afar. It also has an amazing background so do get a guide or read its history before coming to appreciate its beauty.

I visited the Agra Fort in February 2017. The fort has amazing architecture. The grounds and gardens are also very nice. There were a few monkeys in one section. You also get a sweeping view of Agra, the countryside and the Taj. This is a great place to visit for a few hours, you will definitely enjoy if you like... More

Amazing history - do go with a knowledgeable guide who can explain the history of this incredible place. It was more than we had expected.

This was part of a tour stop itinerary and I visited with a guide. Very impressive site. As another reviewer noted it blurs the line between fort and palace. Mostly a royal home but still a formidable and defendable fort. The history is tied to the Taj Mahal and viewing the Taj from the luxurious 'prison' suite of the deposed... More
