If there is any other building in the world that can stand beside the Taj Mahal, it is this Tomb. Marvelous is all one can say!

Called the "baby Taj" its a worthwhile visit across the river in Agra. It was built earlier than the Taj Mahal but in a similar style. While smaller than the Taj, it is not crowded and easy to tour through. It also has some interesting detail work and history which our guide was helpful with.

Just take your time to wander around and take pictures. Lesser crowd than Taj Mahal. Have a guide who knows the history well.

It is actually a replica of Taj. The architecture is beautiful. Takes you back to history text books.

As others have noted, the Baby Taj was a precursor to Papa Taj, but is in some ways, equally fascinating. It is certainly less crowded. Located on the opposite side of the Yamuna River, Baby Taj is somewhat off the beaten path; as a result, it is a quiet and peaceful structure, with many of the same elements as the... More

A most relaxing place to visit. Seems like this is off the main tourist path, so you can really take time to inspect the inlay and really enjoy this fantastic building. Loads of very amazing patterns and stone work. There are great paintings on the ceilings that are unique to all of india. The grounds are quiet so if you... More
