Known as the Emperor's tower is another of the spaces not to be missed inside the Agra Red Fort. The interior of Musamman Burj is the most decorated room in the whole fort and worth a closer look. On the horizon sees the Taj Mahal.

It is located within the Agra Fort and as the name suggests, constitute the ramparts of the fort. A beautiful view of Taj Mahal is visible from the ramparts. This is the location in Agra Fort, where Shahjahan was imprisoned by Aurangzeb and where he spent his last days viewing the Taj Mahal.

This is a part of Agra fort where shahjehan spent his last days under house arrest initiated by his son Aurangazeb. It's barricaded and can only be seen across the barricades. The architecture and engravings are spectacular and will leave you awe struck. Good views of Taj Mahal from here.

The crafted glasses embedded on the walls... More

This is the prison where Shah Jahan spent his days after being captured by his son Aurangzeb. Very beautiful, completely marble everywhere. Taj can be seen in the background and looks lovely. There is a marble tub engraved in the floor where Shah Jahan used to take bath. Sadly now it is a restricted place and tourists are not allowed... More
