There's a spot in a wall so worn in feom people's heads that there is an actual indent in the wall. If you lack self awareness and have little regard for personal space then this place is for you.

Frequently visitted by lot of women and there are separate queue for men and women . The women queue is longer. Also visit nearby sankat mochan and tulsi manas mandir. All are little nearby.

The temple is dedicated to devi durga. There is a kund near the temple. Hence the name Durgakund temple. The temple is very famous in Varanasi.

A colourful temple - Great for photography in the soft light of the sunrise or sunset - Mornings are better in my opinion as the light is often toned down by the morning mists

You have to go to see the monkeys at the temple in Varanasi - but don't attempt to touch them! A fascinating place, full of esoteric rituals and nooks and crannies where the priests are holding ceremony with locals.

One of the favourite place to see indian culture. You can sit in the corner and observe morning or afternoon puja.
