Discovered by Frank S Smythe in the year 1931 is a UNESCO world heritage site under Nature category. Nature lovers, botanist, photograghers, mountaineers all come to valley of flowers from across the globe.

This place must be visited by each person just to take a glimpse at least. Mesmerizing atmosphere, adorable flowers, holy sunrise, and sweet chirping of birds, have made this place an ideal one to be heaven on the earth.

As there natural beauty, we have much more fun and enjoy there with camping and Trekking. There are approx 500 plus flowers individually every flowers explore the beauty for Traveler.

We did this trek along with a bunch of friends. It's an easy trek from the base camp which took 4 hours to reach the place. You would cross a couple of waterfalls on the way and I should say that the way is scenic....More

Thanks for the review. Yes we agree that many pictures on internet are not of the valley of flowers in India. That is causing problem because people come there with a different set of expectation. One should do little research before coming to this place.

Drive from Delhi to Rishikesh first then 9 hours drive to Reach joshimath you can drive further 1 hours to govindghat and then next day trek to ghangaria 16km and then next day valley of flowers and back to ghangaria for... More

Can mules be hired from Govindghat or any other kind of assistance for trekking???

Yes mules can be hire....helicopter services is also available and palki is also available at Govindghat last road head....
