Nestled next to the Nainital Lake is the beautiful and serene Naina Devi Temple after which Nainital is named, it is a clean temple and one can pay their obeisance here, the view of the lake from the temple compound is breath taking.

We were lucky to be here on Ashtami itself...very beautiful temple of devi on the shore of Naini lake. just 3-4 min walk from Mall road boating club.

One of the best places to visit in Nainital. The temple is clean and calm and has hundreds of visitors coming to see this temple. The best time is to go during bengali festival where complete devi temple is decorated.
