I was absolutely mesmerized by the works of art in this heavenly abode - Soham Himalayan Centre which depicts the architecture, lifestyle, demographic diversity, soulful musical instruments, artifacts, amazing sculptures, exquisite jewelry, touching canvases, ancient documents & decorative rich cultural attires of Uttarakhand.

Indeed! A state-of-the-art must visit place to witnessing yourself into astonishing experience & heartedly welcomed by Dr. Kavita & Mr. Sameer who has been a torch bearer to embark on a fascinating trip to Mussoorie.

To sum up, I would highly recommend visiting this gorgeous & serene place and to mark in your wishlist :)

A wholesome preservation of Uttarakhand's heritage from all spheres of the society. The experience was very immersive and enlightening and the place is intriguing in the way it is decorated with painting and decoratives crafted by the owner couple themselves. The veiw of the Doon Valley is unparalleled too. All in all it is a must visit place if you want to explore Mussoorie and the Uttarakhand spirit to the full extent.

Wonderful place exhibiting the tradition and heritage of people of himalayan mountains. The place exudes the care, hard work, dedication to collect several things (scriptures, tools, art work, folk paintings) of the tradition that exists across the different valleys of himalayas. Happy I visited this place.

AMAZING is an understatement!

A couple taking all this trouble to preserve local & Indian traditions, decades-old photographs, incredible manuscripts, other precious artifacts is something truly awe-inspiring! AND all this has been done WITHOUT a bit of support from the Government and investing all this time, energy, funds to showcase the wonderful Himalayan culture & heritage for the next GEN! WOW!

An appeal to ALL Museum & History lovers who visit Mussoorie, to definitely visit this private museum, so as to support this amazing painter - sculptor couple! Additionally, there are some stunning paintings as well as sculptures including a HUGE Ganesha created in stone!

Visit to this museum made the trip to Mussoorie complete!

It's not just a museum. It's Sameer's and his wife's personal experiences and creations. They have spent their many years collecting and creating different things. It's amazing to hear the journey when creator is himself guiding you though everything. It's great place to visit if you are interested in Himalayan/Uttarakhand culture from tribes and history.

I have always loved spending my time in peaceful places, specially since after my retirement. My wife and I were amazed by the beautiful setup as this art and heritage museum in Mussoorie. There is a whole new experience you can gain under one roof about the entire state of Uttarakhand and the Himalayas on the whole.
