Bargain to your hearts content! Great place to buy souvenirs. The multiple stalls sell the same products, so check prices from a few of them before you purchase!

You're in Bali... you are on holidays... you want to buy some souvenirs to take home in between trips to the monkey forest and the beach... There are places to shop all over the island. I've learnt by now that you can pretty much buy the same stuff everywhere and how much you pay depends on the seller, you, if... More

If you enjoy battering then this is the place for you. Really much of the same thing throughout the markets. Vendors tend to be pushy at times.

Shops and stalls sell all kinds of crafts, snacks and sundries. The prices is one third of what they say from the beginning so start to bargain.

If you're looking for wooden phallus bottle openers, this place is for you. Your visit to Bali will not complete if you don't come here. Come early in the morning and walk inside the market, not just for buying souvenirs but to feel the pulse of Balinese life.

A great place to shop. Everything can be found there. One needs to have good bargaining skills in order to maximise the value of your money. All in all, a good shopping experience.

The owner of the homestay where I stayed for 3 days invited me to go with her one morning. There were many vendors selling fresh fruits, vegetables, sweets, prepared or ready-to-eat Balinese breakfast, stuffs needed to prepare temple offerings, etc at this market. Prices of items sold are very cheap! Most buyers appeared to be locals. Later the same day,... More
