Loved every single place we visited back on our honeymoon. People are so very polite and helpful. We loved the music tradition each & every place we visited. They place this soothing music every morning and evening wherever you go. whether its a restaurant, hotel or some small joint, they would play that Gusteja music. Infact, we loved it so... More

1 rst time in Bali and it won't be my last! Stayed in Ubud in a homestay, in the middle of a rice field. The owner was also our personal guide for our 2 week stay. Wonderful experience !!!

The first thing is people are cordial. The second thing worth remembering is the tradition of offering food to god and ancestors Food is kept outside the house in a small basket made up of banana leaf, The banana leaf basket is also eco friendly. Best bit about Bali was the days we spent learning from our driver all about Bali tradition as we traveled around. Best area is around Ubud - where Bali tradition is more accessible than the resort areas down south.
