I love the art markets for variety. I've always found the people there to be friendly. The ladies especially love little kids. If they don't have what you're after they'll run off to get one from their "friend"
Some stall holders refused to bargain others were fantastic. Bought great kids clothes and canvases. January is very hot so take lots of water when out shopping. I found it best to bargain in the morning for morning prices.

The market is located right behind the Kuta beach (on Google maps its Pantai Segara) so if you have time to spare do give it a go otherwise there's really not much to see or buy.
