The Sanur Beach Promenade is lined with brightly painted outrigger boats along the water's edge, and good restaurants and cafes opposite. Treat yourself to a massage offered by one of the many masseuses with divans on the sand. If you're there in July, catch the Bali Kite Festival, a colorful international competition.

This is one of the famous beach in Bali, located in Sanur Area which is strategic area in Bali. Sanur road also has varied restaurant and bars which offers live music every night from 9 to 12 pm. Best place to stayed

My husband and I stayed in Sanur for the first leg of our honeymoon and although we loved Sanur, the beach was less than impressive. I found it very dirty with litter scattered everywhere and there were also too many dogs running around the beach....More

Walking first southern end then the northern end of the beach along the promenade sections of the beach differed widely. Obviously the areas connected to the major expensive resorts were clean of rubbish but the areas towards the south seemed to have more rubbish than...More

We chose Fairmont as it looked like a special place for a special birthday I was celebrating and how right we were! We were made to feel special right from the start with the Assistant Front Manager – Wirama -welcoming us as we checked in....More

Whilst at high tide the beach looks quite attractive, at low tide there is no chance to swim as the water is too far out and there are large quantities of weed. The amount of rubbish left as the tide recedes is also off-putting for...More

Nice beach friendly people and good restaurants. Much better than Kuta in my opinion. Prices at the restaurants vary so hunt around. At night there are no lights so be careful. It is safe though and seems to be a world away from the crazy...More

The second time we have visited Sanur beach, it is absolutely gorgeous for a swim and would be even better for relaxing if the locals didn’t harass you 24/7 trying to get you to buy wares, juices, clothes, massages, pedicures and begging you to visit...More

This is a really night beach. It can be accessed by many walkways from the main street and usually has small snack and drink stands at the end of the access ways. The beach itself is fairly steep so makes for excellent swimming at high...More

The beach is boring, no surf. There is made some stone fence to protect that bay so water near the sunbathing area is calm. We took taxi (blue bird) to Kuta beach for 100k.

Hi the sunsets were not spectacular in Sanur. Definitely have to travel back to Seminyak/Legian/Kuta for the better sunsets. Sunrise on the other hand is amazing in Sanur.

Anywhere where you see deck chairs - right at the front - about $5 - drinking Bintang - about $2.5 - a lovely view and a cooling breeze. Enjoy your stay. Ozdreamer
