The Sanur Beach Promenade is lined with brightly painted outrigger boats along the water's edge, and good restaurants and cafes opposite. Treat yourself to a massage offered by one of the many masseuses with divans on the sand. If you're there in July, catch the Bali Kite Festival, a colorful international competition.

Located about one hour from the airport, this beach is a perfect place for you who seeks for a less crowded beach. Even this beach already well-known, the visitors were not so many. For your info, the area around is also a residence for many foreigners.

Sanur Beach is lovely and sandy. There are plenty of places to get a nice cold drink and the waves are impressive to watch. Very relaxing

The beach is not too big. It was quite clean and the kids had fun. The water was warm and very clear. There are a lot of shops, in which you can buy drinks, order massages or eat.

Have had 4 weeks(so far) here and have enjoyed it. NYE was awesome. Great beach once you learn to wave off the hawkers who will even sell their grandmothers if they could. The beach path/bikeway is fantastic and we have walked every inch of it repeatedly. A multitude of options from snacks to fine dining.

We were at the beach during low tide and the ground is very muddy. As the water is maximum 50cm deep it was good for our kids and they had fun catching small fish with the local kids. The beach itself was clean but the water had lots of plastic trash in it. Some areas were covered in seeweed. All... More

If you looking for something more Authentic, Clean and less manic this is the beach for you. There is also about a 4km stretch of resturants and hotels to keep you busy if you get bored. So if you not up to the constant interactions with drunken foreigners on Kuta Beach suggest this is a good option for you

Its a nice beach for swimming and also very popular with the locals. if you looking for something more relaxing then this is probably not the beach. There are lots of local eating places and warungs.

Sanur is a quieter area of Bali well suited to families with young children and older couples. The pace is slower, the shop keepers are less anxious, the beach fantastic and no bogans!!! What more could you want!

It was our first time to Bali, and I had hoped for nicer beaches. Sanur beach was a bit grotty, and it didn't make us want to get in the water. (Whenever I go to the beach, I normally feel compelled to at least put my feet in the water). The good thing about Sanur was that it wasn't as... More

Quiet, less rushed side of Bali and Dempasaar. The beach had beautiful sand and few people. Bars and restaurants were a short walk away. Away from the beach we encountered a hawker trying to sell us Rolex watches for $50. Be careful.
