Serene and beautiful, the lotus pond added something special to this temple dedicated to the goddess of knowledge and wisdom (and art! which is why this temple feels very much at home in Ubud). There's a nice cafe around the pond for a quick rest.

I was amazed to find this beautiful picturesque spot on Ubud's main road. A lovely place for some quiet time out amongst the cheerful business of Ubud.

Saraswati is an important goddess in Bali to whom the temple is dedicated. She is the goddess of learning, arts, music, language as well as purity hence the presence of the beautiful sacred waters at this temple. Saraswati day is an important festival in Bali marking the end of the Balinese year when people make offerings, perform dances and cleanse... More

We were looking for starbucks and the temple is just there! There's a lotus pond and walkway to the temple. We just snap some photos.

The easiest way to find this place is look for Starbucks and/or the the Lotus Restaurant and then walk down between them. Nice little temple surrounded by Lotus Ponds. Quite busy so if you want a photo in front of the temple without anyone in it, you may be waiting a while. No access to the temple but you can... More

Our driver took us there and we paid the admission. It is a lovely spot and I liked the view from the upper level of the temple. Upon leaving we were accosted by several women selling Batique shirts. I actually bought 2 as they had huge sizes and after my wife finished haggling, they were cheaper than in Ubud's Central... More

Had lunch at restaurant here. Nice food and location but you do sit on the floor on the eating huts, traditional. Nice lotus pool and temple but good luck taking a photo. Tourists everywhere and not very polite!

Visited the temple last week as part of our Ubud local tour. Nothing spectacular, but worth a visit. The lotus pond is good. 15 to 20 mins is more than enough. Take in the views, a few photos and carry on.

Nice temple in the heart of the town. You can take some nice photos. 1 thing in Bali you don't need to cover up to go in the temples in Bali so shorts and t-shirt or a dress is fine.
