My daughter and I took a tour with Bali Bike-Baik Tours, whilst in Bali in January 2020. Unfortunately my son and husband were ill so we went alone. Nyoman our tour guide was completely unphased about our party changing from 4 to 2 people, and we felt completely safe with him as our guide.
We learnt about “poo poo coffee”, heaps about the way that the Bali people live, how they grow and harvest rice as well as stopping along our mostly downhill ride to take photos.
We had breakfast and lunch at the Bali Bike HQ and were made to feel very welcome. The food was delicious.
We were picked up and dropped back to our hotel in Seminyak, so everything was taken care of. Probably one of my most memorable times in Bali and would highly recommend Nyoman and the Bali Bike-Baik tour team to anyone considering a bike trip in and around Ubud.

Bali Bike Baik Tours were fantastic. We booked late the night before we were due to go. Unfortunately the booking did not go through so the driver didn’t come to pick us up. We rang the manager who organised for us to be picked up by a taxi and brought to the company. The manager paid for the taxi himself. He could not have been more helpful. We were offered some beautiful breakfast when we arrived, which we declined as we did not want to hold the other group members up - but by all accounts the breaky was delicious.

Nyoman was our tour guide for the morning. He was awesome!! We couldn’t have asked for a better guide. He was very knowledgeable and quite funny too! It felt like we were just riding along with a friend rather than a tour guide. I would have booked more tours with Nyoman if we had more time but by the time we met him, we were leaving the next day. Thank you Nyoman! You’re the best.

Nyoman was also the name of our Tour guide’s assistant. He was very helpful and offered to take pictures of us throughout the bike ride. He was also great at keeping us safe by riding at the back of the group and stopping traffic when we were entering new roads.

The bike ride itself was awesome! We got to see a traditional home, a special organic coffee and tea company, a family temple and beautiful scenery through rice fields. Nyoman stopped at all the best places so we could take a photo. He also encouraged couples and family’s to take photos together which was nice.

After the bike ride we went back to the company and had a prepared lunch. The lunch was some of the best Indonesian food I have had since we arrived two weeks ago.

We were driven back to our hotel in Seminyak by a lovely man called wayan. We felt very safe in his car, and he was good company.

I could not recommend Bali Bike Baik Tours more highly.

Thank you Nyoman, Nyoman, Wayan for being awesome. And thank you to the manager who sorted out our booking.

Found this to be a great experience riding through the evergreen country side with Gedeye our Local guide .
We integrated with the locals on the rice paddy, Visited temples, and more importantly we were very impressed with the amount of valuable information associated with each of the temples visited.
The ride was a very safe and the route was carefully monitored and calculated by a van at the rear and the guide at the front.
Really recommend for all no fitness required as it is all down hill just a little knowledge on how to ride a bike.

We had the most amazing day riding bikes through the countryside of Bali. Even though the weather was really bad, our guide, Nyoman, made sure we were all enjoying anyways. Throughout the ride we got to see many great things such as a coffee plantation, a private compound and much more. We ended our trip with a lovely lunch at the owners compound. Everyone was just really kind and heartwarming and made sure we had a good time

This was by far the best activity we did as a family while in Bali. The transfer from the hotel in Legian was super easy up to the Ubud area. The actual ride was easy, just about all downhill apart from one small uphill section. The guide was very knowledgeable and gave us great insight into the Balinese culture. We stopped at a local house in a rural village to see how real Balinese live outside of the city. We had a tour of a coffee plantation and got to try many different flavours. The tour finished with a refreshing cool towel before heading the the owners house for an amazing Indonesian buffet lunch. This was the best meal I had in Bali over the 10 days, so delicious. Would recommend this tour to anyone, young or old, it has given our family some lovely memories.

We thought we were going on a bike ride from Kintamani to Ubud. We didn’t realize it was a full tour. What a great day.

So much knowledge from Norman the local guide. We had breakfast and lunch included. Coffee plantation, visit local home, temples, school and so much more.

It was an easy ride downhill for 22 kilometer, immersed in local culture, heritage and overall education of the area, its people and way of life.

Highly recommend

Bike Baik tours (ask about the name!) is a local company, so it's nice to know that my tourist dollars are going back into the community. The company also supports a local school with its profits, which we got to visit.

We were a family of 6 with kids 12-19 years old and the ride was fine for all of us. Nyoman was a great and very enthusiastic host. The ride is not difficult at all, and there are a lot of stops for photos. Note that they also serve breakfast (delicious rice pancakes and fresh fruit) as well as lunch. We made the mistake of eating before we came.

I highly recommend this activity as a way of getting off the beaten path and as a way to see more of Bali.

Had a great experience with Bali Bike Tours. Highly recommend doing this activity whilst in Bali. After doing a lot of research into different companies. I am so glad I chose this company. All staff were great and Nyoman was very informative about sharing an insight into Balinese life. Bali is a beautiful island however, escaping the hustle and bustle of main tourist spots was great as we got to see so much of the real authentic lifestyle that the Balinese live. Cycling through beautiful villages and rice fields. The lunch was super tasty and also catered to vegetarians. I would highly recommend this to anyone, even if you are not so fit it is still a great experience as it is all downhill.

Awesome day out with Kadek and Nyoman today for Bali Bike Baik cycling tour. Everything was covered, water, comfortable car, lots of interesting information from “100% Balinese” guides. We got to visit a local primary school and meet the children, a traditional family compound, coffee luwak plantation with a tasting flight, and a lovely lunch at the owners home. We rode about 20km in Kintamani region which was mostly downhill, and the car followed us so we had a backup for the one uphill bit or if we needed for other times. Riding past the beautiful rice fields and through the stunning villages was so fun, the fresh mountain air and breeze keeping us cool too. We unexpectedly rode into a village that was having a funeral ceremony on the street, and respectfully passed through, but it was such a special experience to witness. The locals are truly something here. 10/10 would recommend this for anyone who is just okay on a bike- I haven’t been on a bike in about 5 years and am not the fittest, but managed this with no problems. Sunscreen is a must, but plenty of water and stops along the way make this so enjoyable.

Very enjoyable bike tour with excellent guidance.

We had a great tour, saw a lot of the beautiful surroundings, and learned a lot from our guide Wayan. He was also very enthusiastic and ensured that the bike ride went smoothly and relaxed. Additionally, the very helpful driver was always close by with the car to assist whenever needed – very well organized. The bike tour is very suitable for young children. Our 6-year-old daughter joined us, and they provided a tandem bike so we could cycle together safely. We had a fantastic day!
