Budi and his family were absolutely amazing from start to finish. We stayed with him and his family in his Airbnb and it was a wonderful experience. The rooms themselves were large and spacious and beautiful, the homemade food served was authentic and wonderful, the tours planned by Budi were personalised and we discovered many hidden gems that we'd never have seen otherwise. Budi was so accomodating and helpful whether it came to initially picking us up (with sorely needed refreshments), going back and fetching some items I'd left behind when we had already reached our destination, giving us food recommendations, dropping us off at 4am to Mount Batur (again with snacks for the trek).
I would recommend anyone going to Ubud to get in touch with Budi and if possible, stay at his Airbnb for the best experience possible. I promise you won't regret it.

Can’t give Budi and his family any higher marks! Given that Bali is already highly “touristic”, Budi was able to show my wife and I around to hidden gems around the island that have yet to be overly crowded by social media influencers that are equally as beautiful. Budi’s also on Airbnb and his wife Villi also hosts accommodation in Ubud. Do yourself a favor and just book as much as you can with him and his family. They make your Bali trip as relaxing as possible for a reasonable price. We were even graciously invited to go to a temple ceremony with Budi and his family after stressing that we wanted to experience Balinese culture without tourists or western interference if possible. Some of the highlights of our trip were also just going to local restaurants with Budi and his father in law Made and having delicious local food with them. I can’t encourage enough for those traveling to eat where the locals eat. We did not get sick and the Nasi Padang and Babi Guling was the some of the best we got to have in Bali during our 17 day journey around the island! Thank you again Budi for your hospitality! Will definitely be back to Bali just to see their family again!

Uluwatu temple and kecak dance was incredible, stunning views and brilliant dance. The rice fields and swings/luwak coffee plantation are also not to be missed. Buddi took us to a restaurant for lunch, once you’ve eaten there’s an infinity pool over looking the jungle for you to relax in/by. Everything we did with buddi was unreal, and to have such a friendly, personable guide like him showing you it all, with his smile and enthusiasm about everything made it even more special. Thanks man

We had two day trips with Budi whilst in Bali. He was really friendly and knowledgeable and made our trips really fun!

Budi was absolutely amazing during our 3 week trip to Bali. We are a family of 6 with an 18 month old baby and Budi was so accommodating and helpful! Budi collected us from the airport. Organised our fast boat to the Gilli islands and took our family on two day trips 1 in Ubud area and 1 in Seminyak area. Budi is extremely knowledgeable and very easy to get on with. Super friendly and fun guy. My whole family loved him!

We did a morning tour with budi and it was so nice! He is a really friendly guide and can tell you a lot about everything he shows during the trip. He let us see things that you wont see with other guides. I will recomment budi to my family and friends.

Budi was a great tour guide, very knowledgeable, kind and attentive. We customized the tour based on the sights we wanted to see and he advised us on the best locations and timings in order to avoid the tourist crowds. He even took us to the Bali United stadium for souvenirs. I highly recommend Budi, who is a fantastic tour guide, who is eager to share stories about his culture and their traditions with you!

Budi was amazing! I didn’t want to do the usual touristy stops in Ubud and he made sure that everything we did was exactly what I wanted. Took me to eat the best pork I’ve ever had, amazing temples and rice fields. He explained everything about Indonesian culture while in the temples and takes an excellent photo (new instagram profile pic done). Please book Budi for your next trip round Ubud, he is so welcoming and looks after you every step of the away.
Also as a solo female traveller he made me feel at ease and safe at all times
If you ever come to London Budi, I will need to show you around and I’ll definitely call you if I’m back in Bali.

Very good experience! I felt comfortable with Budi, he gave us recommendations of places, we were able to maximize our experience in Bali and we had a good photographer "Budi" I recommend him

With any tour, half of the experience is who the guide is & I genuinely can’t think of anyone better in Ubud than Budi. Such a sweet guy who fielded the million questions we had like a champ.
An absolutely beautiful day. We challenged him to create a tour that fit our vibe and interests; low-key, temples, waterfalls, religion, food & culture. He delivered on every single front. 💫🙏🏻
We even got to try suckling pig overlooking the jungle! So special 🐷
