Best Balinese meal, hands down!

This was the highlight of my stay in Ubud. Kadek was so professional and knowledgeable, and his family welcomed us warmly into their home. It was a very hands on class and we cooked so many amazingly fresh, fragrant and colorful dishes. The trip to the local produce market and the rice paddy was very interesting and great part if the tour as well. Cannot recommend this highly enough, should be top of your "to do" list while here - don't miss it!!

Wonderfull Experience!

We had such a great experience! We learned so much about Balinese food and cooking. Together with the chef and his family we made delicious meals, of which we could not believe that we made it ourself (okay with all the instructions of our chef ;-))
We also learned a lot about Balinese culture, that was a big plus.

We would highly recommend this cooking class for all of those who look for an easy and nice class with positives vibes and the best Balinese meals!

Lovely, authentic cooking class

Had a great experience at this cooking class. The family are warm, welcoming, knowledgeable and so friendly. The market tour, rice field visit and visit to their home where the class is held was a true insight into Balinese culture and life. The recipes were all delicious and I feel I will be able to recreate them at home. Highly recommended!

Great experience if you want to learn more about the Balinese culture

Whats better to do on a rainy afternoon in Ubud. So i stumble upon this cookery school and is definitely one if the most interesting things I have done in Ubud! Kadek was so kind and he is very patience in explaining all the ingredients and step-by-step to us so that we enjoy the whole cooking process in a good pace. The family was also very kind and helpful in all the background jobs. In the end we got to try five different dishes with two dips and dessert. Johor’s experience has been very enjoyable and would definitely recommend anybody who will come to Ubud! Thanks Kadek and the family😊

We had the best time at the Bale Delod Cooking Class. We went to the markets and learnt about local produce and also to a rice field where Komang informed us on how rice was grown and harvested. We absolutely loved going to their family home and cooking 10 dishes with their help. It was delicious and definitely an experience I would highly recommend. The whole experience was so positive and we cannot say enough great things about it.

Great Balineese food and culture experience

Absolutely amazing experience. Both Kadek, Komang and their mother were very sweet and delightfull company. The food was tasty and traditional and the cookingclass was kids-friendly. The trip to the market and rice field was very interesting and informative and a great introduction to balineese life. Truly a must do for any food and culture enthusiasts.

Fantastic, good cooking experience and lovely family

The food was delicious, you really got to be involved and learned a lot. The family and the atmosphere in there beautiful home was fantastic. Thank you to Kadek and Komang and there mother. We felt so welcome. The marked tour was really interesting and we got to learn a lot, not just about balineesean cooking but also about offering and customs. We would definitely go again and would recommend it to everyone who wisit Ubud.

Great cooking class! The family is so kind and explains a lot about the food and their Balinese culture. Not just a cooking class, but you can also make your own offer and get to know more about the Hindu way of living. Overall an amazing experience!
