The Campuhan Ridge Walk is arguably the best known Ubud trek and with good reason. The sparse crowds and the aesthetically rich vistas remind one of why people from around the world come to Bali. The trail starts at the historical origin of Ubud, the confluence (or Campuhan) of the Wos Rivers.

This a nice little walk of 3km each way, so by no means a long strenuous hike. Especially the first half is pretty, the second part is a fairly closely built up. The second part can be omitted, but you should consider going the extra mile for the sake of the view from Karsa Kafe and Spa. No need for... More

It's a beautiful and scenic easy walk up. The padi fields and art galleries are pretty sight. Definitely a must go if you like taking scenic photos.

You should really do the small trek when in Ubud, it's just outside the city centre. Dont skip the temple at the start, it's beautiful too. There's great views to be seen and nice to escape the busy streets for a moment.

I love Ubud. Have spent a lot of time here but I only did this walk once. It is apparently in all the guide books and so has become quite popular with visitors. Asothers have said, try to avoid the heat of the day and certainly go prepared, with water and sunscreen. My only comment which others may not have... More

Somewhat difficult to find the entrance to this walk, but once you do you won't be disappointed! Worth visiting early morning/later in the afternoon when the mist and sun is low. Some of the stones are a bit wonky, so wear decent shoes and be mindful not to trip/twist your ankle. Pet friendly so you may pass some locals walking... More
