To start off this cooking class we were picked up right at our Airbnb which was super convenient. They were nice enough to drop us off at our different Airbnb when we returned. We started off with a market tour and we were allowed to try many new fruits and learn about the ingredients we would be cooking with. Once... More

The cooking class with Ketut was one of the best things we did in Ubud. Fresh ingredients were used. We cooked with another couple together. Everything was explained very well step by step. The kitchen was very clean and we enjoyed our self-cooked lunch. Ketut is a funny guy. We received all recipe for cooking at home. Also a Balinese... More

Good tour of the market even though the stalls were shutting down on a Sunday. The cooking was fun. The only reservation I had is that with all of us splitting the duties I felt I missed some of the steps. The meal in the outdoor pavilion was fantastic.

This was a lovely way to spend a half day followed by a siesta. Ketuk is a delightful chef who loves his cooking and whose laughter punctuates the morning. We are taken to the market which is worth a few photos before it is cleared away at 9:00 to be replaced by hippy stuff. We are then taken to his... More

I must say-- Ketut's Balinese cooking class is a one-of-a-kind culinary experience. Day started off quite OK: picked up at our hotel by 8am, passed by the Ubud market for a Balinese ingredient/s quickie, and headed to Ketut's rice paddy venue just along the outskirts of Ubud. The host, Ketut was quite a quick-witted fellow! Quite insightful, sincere and I... More

We got to cook like 7 or 8 different meals with Ketut. He is a great host, the overall experience was very interesting. Everyone have their own cooking station so you participate in every step of the preparation. The market tour at the beginning was nice also. Only downside was that the receipts are not made from A to Z... More

Best cooking course I've been to. Ketut was such and so entertaining. Had 4 great Indonesian dishes, all fresh ingredients. Ketut catered for my wife who was gluten intolerant. Is you choose to do a cooking course in Ubud, then this is the one!
