Imade and his staff treated us to a phenomenal afternoon of learning, prepping and cooking a blend of fresh Bali ingredients and finally, sitting down to enjoy our delicious meal! Every dish that was prepared by the group was so tasty!
It was a fun afternoon and when a ride is included to and from one’s hotel, it’s one of the best values in Ubud!

It was very well organized, from being picked up to the actual self-cooked lunch. They cook in small groups with lots of guidance and room for questions. Instructions on ingredients and cooking process are very clear. In the end you get all the recipes in a booklet.
We found it an extra nice touch that they included a welcome drink and started with explaining on the making of and meaning of Canang Sari (the offerings) which our kids really loved.
Can certainly recommend this activity!!

We were picked up on time from our hotel, taken to the cooking school, which caters for a maximum of 8 people, learnt how to make offerings, cooked several dishes between us as well as rice and desert. Lovely Balinese chef, who was patient and a great communicator (English language). Is set above rice fields and a lovely breeze flowed through where we were.
We ate what we made, soup, mains and desert. Cold bottles of water were available throughout.
Great price at $350000 IDR ($35 AUD)
Would recommend.

We had an excellent guide who guided us around a market. He explained all the produce and food we would be cooking with. A short transfer took us to an outdoor kitchen where we were told about the dishes we were going to make. Our guide gave us a practical experience and instructed us on how to cool different dishes. The colours and smells were amazing. You also get to eat all of your hard work at the end of it! 3 hours was a perfect time, pick up wasn't hassle as the driver used WhatsApp and arranged times.

Thank you for a brilliant experience, now we need to try and recreate these dishes in England 🇬🇧

After a visit to the local market you will get a cooking class where you will make about 10 dishes. The nice thing about this location is that you are not in a professional kitchen of a restaurant, but in a beautiful environment in the rice fields. All in all a very nice activity to do if you are interested to know more about Balinese cuisine.

Thank you so much for this experience. It was amazing!! I enjoyed it so much and I really do think you gave so much sense to the fact that through food you really experience a culture and understand it.

It brought us as a group together and created understanding among cultures. I am so grateful I was part of this and could experience the love in our food ❤️ Everyone working there is an amazing cook and highly skilled. The passion and love about what they do is incredible and really gets visible in every little step. Terimakasih🙏🏻🦋

I would recommend taking a cooking class as it’s the best way to learn about the cousine and try authentic foos without the fear or getting sick. It also helps you taste the local food and see if it is of your taste so you know what to order when you eat outside. The class was well organized and fun and the food was delicious

We started with a morning visit to the local market, which was informative and a behind the scenes look at how the locals start their day. The cooking class was very interactive and fun. We learned a lot about local ingredients and flavors. The meal consisted of many dishes including dessert. We would highly recommend you book this experience. Cooking adjacent to the rice paddies was beautiful and very functional.

Had a great cooking class with morning market visit.
Have visited a small market at the beginning where the locals buy the fresh food for the day in the morning. It was all explained great and we got a good impression of normal everyday life and culture.
The cooking class took place in the middle of the rice fields, very nice location. Have prepared 9 different dishes (we had the vegetarian version). The process was super organized and as a group you really do all the work steps yourself, which gives you a good impression of the local cuisine. The food was very good, and you also came up with all the recipes. From start to finish a great experience I can only recommend.

Up from hotel in Ubud , went to market to learn about food, there were 7 of us, as a mature male this was absolutely fantastic, making all sorts of dishes, salads, dessert. They have vegan option, some of the dishes are spiced and you have no choice but to enjoy all the hands on , again absolutely fantastic thank you team 🇮🇩❤️
