beautiful park that provides a great escape from the bustle of the big city. We visited from Jakarta and overall enjoyed the little time we spent at the park. There is something very rustic about it, yet the paths are clearly marked and overall organized (though rarely even)
It seems there is lots going on for people of all ages to visit and enjoy. you can trek and reach the waterfalls, or just leisurely walk around and enjoy the views, as we did. We had a 16-months old with us.
All this beauty is disturbed by dozen upon dozens of eateries all along the paths. It seems there are several clumped together every 50 meters. it is absurd and destroys the sense of tranquility. it is a shame. It just changes the focus of this conservation park to resemble another commercial, urban dwelling.
There is no sense of cleanliness in the big cities of Jakarta and it is reflected here as well. The park is littered all over. There is wrappers and empty bottles all over this beautiful view, and that is just sad. A place like this should be part of educating people to preserve and appreciate.

this is one of the places highly recommended by Java Private Tour to me and my family to do fun trekking in the middle of Bandung city, one of the lungs of Bandung city, the best place to exercise while being greeted by the morning sun, and exploring nature and know the history of the city of Bandung, and this is a great place to hunt for landscape photography.

Highly recommended to visit for you who works in metropolitan city! Great place to get fresh air and get lost for a while.

You need extra stamina to explore the entire of site, but it's really worth to do. There are 3 gates, I tried with the 1st gate and welcomed by pine forest.
Don't worry about getting lost at the forest, because there is walking path and some small stores to get some rest.

If you like historical site, there are two sites near the 1st gate, Japanese cave and Dutch cave.

Before we could even go in, our driver who met up with the guide after parking the car insisted we must take a guide. It's at Rp200,000. Although we told our driver we just want to go in and walk around and take some pics, as my other friends is not the walking type, he still insisted that we must take a guide. We ended up refusing to pay and not visiting.

In general I’m amazed on what I’ve seen in this forest. Tall Trees, a very fresh air, Omas Waterfall, Rivers, Dutch and Japanese Caves, etc. I just love all of it

A place with good walking trails, cute little warungs (eateries) in the mountain area, interesting tunnels to walk through, monkeys to see...

The cooling tunnels were pitch dark and we used our handphone torch to light the way.

Be prepared to get your shoes dirty if it rained the night before.

The park is basically nice with a lot of different plants and trees. But the entrance fee is ridiculous high for what you can see. The caves are just tunnels where you can see nothing exept if naked walls. The worst was the kind of zoe nearby the main entrance. It's pure cruelty to animals as you can see how the martens are caught in a small, stinking cage and already showing apathetic behaviour! That should not be supported at all and castes a negative light on all Indonesia animal treating.

Decided last minute to visit the forest park for the waterfall. With the rain couldn’t reach the waterfall but still had a really awesome time. Park is really beautiful and scenic. As an overseas tourist that has hiked in many places I would definitely say to add the park to your list.
Park officers were also super friendly and showed us the smallest orchid in the world (as found in the park). They also booked a Grab for us to to home! Definitely add to your list of places to visit when in Bandung (tip: go during the week to avoid crowds)
