Set them free awful people. This is not acceptable. Why would someone even pay for that ? Go home and enjoy human things.

Animals were neglected and starved, they had injuries and looked ill. That place should be shut down

There are many upgrade such as GOLF CAR rented 150k for 6 person including the guide who tells the animals stories and name. also there are many renovations on Bandung zoo being a nice place to be visited.

There is African area which resulted from a cooperation agreement with Taman Safari.

Once I entered the zoo, it was very heartbreaking. With the amount of land they owned, it looked in vain. Pedestrian walkways are not well cared for, animals are not well cared for, most of zoo keepers seem to only work for money and do not care about animals. I even saw the zoo keeper smoking inside when he cleaned the cage.
The funny thing is with their merchandise shop, I look for Bandung zoo's fridge magnets and they instead sell Taman Safari's fridge magnet. I'm speechless.
I hope they can manage the zoo better than its website :(

For a 40k/pax, it was quite affordable for a zoo, the walk is great because there's shade all over the walking path, the animals quite alot but not too variatif, many cages are empty, the distances need to circle the zoo is enough, not too demanding for toddler.
The toilets were very dirty and messy. This place is under construction so it's quite haphazard.

Overall, the kid and the missus were happy so i am satisfied.

Some path is broken and no water supply in free public toilet, you have to pay for the toilet which is have water supply.

Animals seems very unhappy and starving. Orangutan have no place to escape from the hot sun.

I been to Yogya zoo which ismuch more better than this, with similiar entrance fees.

The place is unkempt. Not worth the price. Or at least they should have used the expensive admission fee to feed or upkeep the place.please improve about the cleanliness

After reading the negative reviews I was hesitating to take my young children to this zoo, but to my surprise it's a great place especially being from Europe we got to see complete different things then from back home, it's a great place to visit. I do agree something needs to be done in case the animals are not taken care of they way they are supposed to, but not by closing it instead they should be educated regarding this, sometimes we forget and think that animals are being abused when they are being rode on, but that's been since centuries, they were a means of transportation. And even in Europe not all zoos are 100% it's everywhere surely we must look out for the well being of the animals but not by shutting it down, but by educating people in this regards. In short a must visit place.
