Templars tunnel

Okay to see, incredible underground building, worth seeing if lots of time in acre. Buy combined ticket for best value so you can see citadel and museum too.

Without a tour guide it's literally just a tunnel for 300m, there are no signs telling you the history or anything about them.

This comes with the ticket to the Crusader Fortress. It was fun to do. If you have children, this is a must. They will love this. Also, a nice walk through the Old City to get to this. If you have mobility issues - this is not for you!

The old Tunnel is now a Citadel of the Templars and the whole place has been renovated and repaired. a lot of work has been done, you can understand that form the beginning. However, I have enjoyed the visit better if objects from that time were preserved and exposed there...but that's just me. The price for the entrance is quite... More

Although not clear why the templars built the tunnel and how the water going through it on the sides of the tunnel , circulate (both sides of the tunnel conduct to sea level), it is a great experience to cross it. The tunnel is well maintained and nicely decorated. Recommended!

The tunnels were neat however they ran out of english handouts and for the price I thought they would be longer. We came out at the end and kind of said to each other "that's it?".

Part of the old city adventure of Akko. Don't miss the tunnels and their story, especially how they were discovered. It is well done and historically significant. Very interesting.
