A unique place in Israel, this museum provides wealth of experience for both aviation buffs and novices alike. Rich aerial combat history of Israel is perfectly reflected there. Instruction is also provided, though its level leaves much to be desired. Two substantial shortcomings must be pointed out. The first is lack of shade - all aircraft are displayed in the... More

I'm glad that I brought adults and my children, ages 18 to 3 today. We all enjoyed it. There are extensive exhibits of many many fighter aircraft of all types, with explanations in English. It's true- it's all outside- bring headcover, sunscreen and water.... and food. It's true that the upkeep is not stellar nor spectacular, but adequate.

After entering the facility we went to the IAF Heritage House where they have a stunning display of photographs adorning the walls with descriptions in Hebrew and English. When we exited the building we were drawn to several aircraft that visitors were allowed to sit in. I became a pilot in a small single engine propeller aircraft while my friend... More

Indeed many interesting airplane are preserved in the IAF museum but all are in bad physical shape and not well maintained, the feeling is that the museum is pretty abounded and forgotten. Only for real aviation fans that can spent half a day around out of service B707.

Well kept were they show the heroes and the wars. After an excellent introduction. We went to the field to see the real retired aircrafts. They even allow us to enter tin some of them
