Jaffa (also known as Yafo) is the ancient port city out of which Tel Aviv has now grown. Jaffa has, in recent years, like much of South Tel Aviv, been regenerated with the old narrow streets and courtyards becoming a another highly desirable part of...More

So its was really hot when we came here to walk. The place was nice because it was by the port but the marina area where the ships were tied up were quite small. The nice think about this area is that there are a...More

I remember the old rather scary Jaffa that was more Arab than Jewish. It seemed to be so far away from Tel Aviv. Now it's just a 45 min walk from Hilton Beach along an almost continuous promenade. From here, you get the best shoreline...More

It's very nice to visit, it's very authentic, very middle eastern, full of history. Try the restaurants in the port, you won't regret!

All my best vacation shots are from The Jaffa Port. IT is very picturesque and peaceful. Take a walk to cool down or just to be near the sea. Jaffa is a place to relax and enjoy Israel away fro the desert and dirt.

Loved the hubbub and activity. Loads of shops and places to eat. The boats and views of the sea are beautiful. I particularly like the harmonious co-existence. We took a great picture of a mosque and adjacent church.
