I suggest you start at the grotto in the basilica and walk down the road to the well of Mary. These two landmarks are part of both Catholic and Orthodox traditions and walking between the two is a beautiful way to compliment the two with...More

You come to Nazareth and want to take in the historic sites, but pass this one up. It is iconic for this town, but be warned it is dirty, neglected and there is no water in it, nor has their been in it for years....More

Supposedly the well from which mary drank on her way to Egypt, the Structure erected above the actual well (dry now) is probably Ottoman and stands in the middle of a somewhat neglected public square in the heart of the old city. Worth a stop...More

Just outside the greek Orthodox church. Quick stop on the way to see the church. A good spot for a quick picture.

You can delete this name from your itinerary. There is no water in the so called well and it's basically a garden and nothing else.

You can visit and dine right next to this historic location right in the heart of Nazareth! Its a must see as you tour the town, and go there in the evening for dinner to see local life!!!

This is where the people of the village of Nazareth used to get water from, including virgin Mary.. there is currently no running water but the well has a lot of history built around it and is the symbol of Nazareth

This small arched covering supposedly marks the spot where there was a well that Mary and also Jesus would have come to get water. It is on the main road going down to the Church of the Annunciation

It's a small structure containing a well. It takes only one minute to walk the entire peripheral area of the structure. There are no explanation, and looks very run down. There is really not much to see at all.
