Stunning!

This church is immaculate and it is very interesting to see the underground cave of where Jesus is said to have been born. I feel anyone would find this Church of interest.

Amazing, touching, a hommage to traditional people of Nazareth and their faith, and to the conviviality and pluralism inherent to Palestinian society.

This big and modern church was one of the highlights of our Nazareth visit. One of the most interesting things there is that they have a collection of paintings (though not all of them are exactly that) of Maria from all around the world, so you get a glimpse of how each country sees Maria in their own eyes.

Beside its importance for the christians, this is a place where one could admire icons from all parts of the world, with different styles in art...so wonderfull. Outside, you can sea the remains of the old church which is under the new one.

I've been there just after Christmas. This church is the most decorated indoors. In the church area you can find another church and you get a nice view. There is a nice cheap market just across the street.

This church was actually built by a construction company over the ruins of an ancient church, and as such you can expect exposed cement pillars and such. Overall it is impressive, and the thing I liked the most were the different images of Maria and Jesus which were done by many countries, so for example you can see there a... More

The church is very beautiful and impressive inside and out. On the front there are figures and quotations from the Bible. Inside are two floors, about 60 meters in height.

The place itself is quite simple in decoration and for a person who has seen hundreds of churches it is just another church .... but if you see the spiritual value of this church it is clearly unique.. it is where the Angel announced to Maria that she will give birth to Jesus. If you believe this than it is... More
