The significance of the location is overwhelming. All around the courtyard are art tributes to Mary from many many countries. Inside the church is an artistic attempt to portray an upside down lily, letting light into the interior.

The church of the Annunciation. Where Angel Gabriel announced to Mary that she would bear the Son of God(Jesus). The lower level contains the Grotto of the Annunciation. Sacred beautiful church.

Beautiful building and court yard. Exit is via a gift shop. They were in the process of decorating for Christmas, and a wedding that afternoon.
