The Church of the Annunciation is beautiful with renderings of the Virgin Mary contributed by many countries. The area surrounding the church has aggressive shop keepers, making for a long walk to public parking. Recommend not stopping or even making eye contact.

This is supposed to be the location where Mary lived which was made into a church, then another church was built around it, then another built around that one. Cannot even make out what it was supposed to be originally

Great architecture for a building build in 1969 with concrete , a lot of mosaic or sculpture of different country that give different view of the church and quite unusual. Great moment there

A very big church in a small town Nazareth. This holy site is one of the most valuable site of Nazareth. I respect the way they built a big church but keep the old place. Very Beautiful, very Holly!

The beautiful mosaics created by countries around the world alone make visiting this church a five star. Throw in the really unique cement architecture and the significance of the Annunciation and a visit becomes a cant miss opportunity if you are in the area.

I was in Nazareth for a business trip, then I decided to spend couple of hours visiting this important monument: inside the lower church you'll see the ancient ruins of Nazareth, including the holy place. And also, it's interesting to visit st. Joseph church.

As an engineer I marveled at the concrete structural construction, but also enjoyed the beauty and unique style of this church. Built on what is believed to be Mary's home. There are actual excavations you can see proving that a Jewish home was at this...More

This church was built on top of Mary's home in Nazareth where the angel, Gabriel, visited her. It is a holy and wonderful place, regardless of your belief that Mary was or wasn't living right there. Open for private prayer evenings.
