The iconography is stunning, just as you would expect in a Greek Orthodox church. Don't miss the small cave at the back which is the spring source for Mary's well.

Only a couple of 100 years old but throws you in a different culture, the Greek orthodox church. This is a small chirts but deep and intense in its intricate frescos, church relics, artifacts and furniture. Prayers were done in Arabic.

One peculiarity we notices was that always the ruins of old churches were were kept for past memories were were not demolished fully. The church is under Greek Orthodox Management near St Mary's well, considered very holy having much importance from historical point of view

Smaller to the Basillica and less 'touristy'. Fabulous decoration and sense of peace. The site of Mary's Well. A hidden gem, and well worth seeking out.

Amazing interior, nice paintings, a cool place to visit in a sunny day. A popular stop for Greek Orthodox tourist or pilgrims. It was worth the time spent. Two thumbs up!

We were in hot summer day, but inside it was cool with fresh air. Inside there are so many Christians symols, and the guards told us the history of this place.

This church is an interesting example of an orthodox place of worship. It's by far not as crowded as the Basilica. The only downside is that they want to lure you into their museum when you exit. Also, the entrance is quite low, which is...More
