Wonderful display of plants, trees and flowers set in a lush environment. You definitely need a map with the legend of all that is there to really gain appreciation for the different types of plants, spices, etc. There are a number of large turtles, cousins...More

The gardens are nice, but really worthwhile only for botanists. I personally prefer Mahe's many regular hiking trails which are all free, vs. the 125 SRC one had to pay at this garden.

The variety of plants is huge but the coco de mer is the highlight in this visit. Its a huge plant and once you see it you are stunned.

Had lunch there. Food was amazing. Traditional creole, and for refreshment i had home made lemonade with coconut milk - AMAZING! Walk thru gardens was very interesting as you can see a variety of plants that usually don't see every day.

We spent half a day here whilst on holiday and it was so worth it. The gardens are just lovely and the walks are so beautiful. The only issue we had was that we would have loved to do the high ridge trail but it...More
