First of all, you have to have a car or driver to crawl your way high up the mountain. And the view alone is worth the drive!! But beyond that, I had never seen a cinnamon tree, alpinia flowering bushes, and found the cotton plants, lemongrass, and more so interesting. The Spice Garden was open on Sunday (one of the... The garden is quite interesting, even if the overview of the different plants is not well presented (small name tags instead of numbers would have made the visit a bit more visitor friendly). !! We visited the garden at lunchtime and got a lot of moskito bites! We wanted to try something at the restaurant but where disapointed by the... More

The restaurant is super expensive for the tiniest of meals. So, after the meal you can pay a hefty entrance fee to walk the gardens. Much of the garden is not maintained and it cannot be accessed easily. This could have been an excellent tourist hang out if prices were reasonable. The views from the top are beautiful. However, much... More

The garden is quite big and nice, a lot of plants with names and descriptions. Also turtles and rabbits can be interesting for children. Some parts look like real forest, some are very cultivated. We did not regret coming there, but no wow-effect. Suveniers shop is very expensive. Admission to garden was RS125 per person. As there are not many... More

I read some reviews and everyone was saying this was a wonderful place to visit. Firstly their prices are very high and the service is poor. I had the vegetable curry crepe...it was freezing cold it tasted like a tin of vegetable curry that they had poured onto a pancake and served to me...i was starving and had to force... More

Maybe this garden had a good time. No it is not taken care off. More chickens and rabits in bird cages then healthy plants or animals. There's one Ara with one eye with bad feathers and no food or water. They have about 20 Seyschelles tortoises divided in 2 small areas (5 by 7m) living in their own waist, on... More

Just follow the signs in the direction of the garden and you will have to go up a steep hill until the complete end. It is totally worth it and for us a totalust see. Admission fee is 125 SCP for an adult. You will get a map and a short explanation which paths you have to follow and then... More
