Built before the American Revolution, the elegant home of General Philip Schuyler is one of the most outstanding examples of pre-war architecture. During the season, mid-May through October 31st, enjoy a guided tour of the home. Knowledgeable tour guides will tell you the history of the site and family, which included Philip and Catharine Van Rensselaer Schuyler and their eight children. Second daughter Elizabeth Schuyler married Alexander Hamilton in the home's formal parlor in 1780.
Tours are offered on the hour. Please call in advance of your tour, as pre-registered groups and events will alter the tour schedule.
Schuyler Mansion is CLOSED yearly from November 1st through mid-May.
