This place is beautiful during spring and fall. You can walk around and even hike. You can enjoy hydrangea flowers in June

Taejeong dae offers a great view on the sea with beautiful vertical cliffs. The tour is around 4 km and would take around 2 hours if you do all the stop. You can buy train tickets that shortens the time between scenic spots.

Taejongdae is one of the Busan seaside parks with some great views. The two hour loop path goes through two small temples (Gumyeongsa and Taejongsa) which are worth a quick stop. From the observation deck Tsushima Island of Japan can be seen if the visibility is good. Yeongdo Lighthouse area is the highlight where the best views of the magnificent seaside cliffs are.

When we came here about 2 years ago, we liked this place.

Particularly when standing high up at the top in wide open spaces -
admiring the beautiful sea views & refreshing breezes.

It was very sunny & hot though
as before but the sea breezes helps. We decided to come here again because our children wasn't here with us the last time . We had free time to spare due some changes in original plan.

Took over a hundred pics while there. No matter where you were, the view was amazing.
We decided to walk up, but you can take a little train ride, too.
A tour we were on, dropped us off here for a couple hours. It was well spent.
Before going up, we bought some snack and drinks at the ticket station, and went to the restroom. The restroom was clean and had many stalls with regular toilets, no squatting down needed... LOL
Then started our way up. Most people waited for the train. We took the train on the way down.

Very nice place to walk and enjoy the sea breeze. Even during summer, the wind from the sea was still very cold. Recommend to bring jacket along. The needle supposedly points in the direction of Japan, of course you will not be able to see Japan from here.

The walk in the park is also very nice. We enjoyed spending the day in this park.

If you’re in Busan for more than a week a trip to Taejeondae is a worthy excursion. I recommend the hop on hop off train around the park. You can easily spend 4 hours if you do some of the hikes. I especially recommend the hike down to the water. It’s not for the faint of heart though. The trails are well designed but it’s steep!
There’s a little cafe at the bottom to rest up for the trek back to the road. Enjoy the views and exercise!

I took the danubi train for less than $3usd bc i wasn't planning on going for a long hike and only wanted to see the lighthouse. But be prepared for a long walk with lots of steps to get to the lighthouse because you have to go down from the danubi train stop and then up the stairs in the lighthouse ( i had to take a couple of breaks, take off my scarf, and unzip my winter jacket because it was getting hot). I was not prepared for a hike.

Worth making a trip here to enjoy the sights on a sunny day. We joined a day-tour and they brought us here by bus. Very convenient!
