Well, if you spent some type touring Korea, you will see that many buildings are reconstructions. This one is not and it is nice to see. Make sure to see a movie about the construction and history about it. Located next to the observatory.

Its just a small tower, nothing much. There was festival when we went, so we kindda enjoyed it nevertheless.

It was a very worthwhile trip, our whole group enjoyed the observatory and the Pink grass nearby, we also rented a cart to go from one attraction to the other. We will definitely come back! :)

This is a very curious building and extremely well made as it didn't fall down during recent earthquakes. The area around here is also very picturesque and they make extremely good coffee down the road too.

An observatory built in the 4th century? Who knew? Well I didn't. Definitely yes for culture and history buffs. Not much time needed to check it out, but it is definitely worth checking out.

Just a nice, super historic place in this wonderful city that's loaded with history. Great that you can just bike around and bump into so many historic places "in the wild".

This was great, as an original observatory which was built in the 4th century it is well worth visiting.

The observatory was tilted a bit in the recent earthquake but is still standing. Not really sure how it was used. It does look like a lighting house. There is no entrance fee here.
