Nice mini-forest in the immense historic area of Gyeongju. Great to have a cool stroll, while passing mini temples and more burial grounds.

Strolling around Gyerim Forest was an unplanned and random pit stop. I don't remember much about the forest itself because as I was walking around, I came across this random tomb. Upon inspection, I came to find out that it was the tomb of King...More

Locate near with other tourist spot. I think it is a so small forest that you can walk around 15-20 mins and you will already finished seeing everything. It's like a miniature of a forest and an ancient house in it.

Not much for a forest & things to see. Just a stroll to get to Choseongdam Observatory. The surrounding areas like the Gyeongju Hyanggyo & Gyodong Choessigotaek are much more interesting.

Walk the meandering path that twists and turns between trees and over a small stream. No bikes allowed!

It is much more like a small lightly wooded area, but it does have some very old trees. It is quite moody, but doesn't take up much of your time.

Gyerim Forest is "in between" Cheomseongdae Astronomical Observatory and Gyochon Traditional Village. It's a nice place to chill after exploring Gyochon Traditional Village. This forest feels like in the storybook tales. Big old trees, love the "green" nature smell that totally refreshed us. Bring the...More
