Lunuganga is like something out of a dream. The garden is a very special place with a wonderful view or vista around every corner. The house is gorgeous too

We've visited this attraction using the tour guide from our hotel. We had to wait because the garden is opened at certain hours(9:30, 11:30, 13:30, 15:30). The price is 1250 Rs for one person. We've had an awesome tour guide of the garden which explained everything. There a many things to see especially the life of Geoffrey Bawa and his... More

Excellent garden tour. But we stayed two nights in the main house. Interesting but quirky. Great staff, beautiful setting, but only the garden seems to be maintained. Best bet is to stay in Bentota and book the garden tour and lunch. You can then see the gardens and some of the interior and artworks and have a superb authentic lunch.... More

We were on our way to Galle and decided to take a diversion to see this p,ace. I am so glad we did. This is a hidden gem and well worth the visit. Architecture fans and people that like historical homes will enjoy this. The estate belonged to Geoffrey Bawa (Sri Lanka's most renowned architect) and is a collection of... More

Only stayed for lunch - go there for romance or a group of friends. Sensational gardens, vistas and architecture. A life highlight. Would stay solo.

Summer house of architect Geofrey is beautiful place with awsome views. Tickets cca 1500 LKR, there is a hotel in some buildings, thats why it is not possible to see every buildings inside. But never mind.

I spent a lovely afternoon here with an excellent guide. The place is beautiful with all the surroundings. Do bring mosquito-spray!

Don't expect guide books/ fancy cafes etc, this is simply a tour around a wonderful property by a passionate and knowledgeable guide. Tip - put insect repellent on as we got bitten a lot even in the mid afternoon. The house and grounds are WONDERFUL. Slightly worn but thats part of their magic.

A great way to spend an afternoon wondering around a masterful creation . The buildings blended beautifully into the landscape. The plants and trees were perfectly placed.

The garden is really nice. But the maintanance of the buildings is totally poor. The entrance fee is to high. The guest toiletts are a incredibly desaster. Knowing the locarton since 15 years the place is going down down down. Not worth to visit any more. Hans
