Citadel of Saladin Away from the city of Latakia, 25 km. The way the average quality is getting worse shortly before arrival, one toward Beautiful nature surrounding the castle and parents and good hosts. Named after the castle in the name of the Islamic leader Saladin, who defended his country against the Crusades

I'd say yes. Not as easy to find, you might need to ask locals as we needed to, but the scenery around is breathtaking and you do not regret the extra kms you will take to find it. It is well preserved (maybe not as well as Krak though), about same size, offer view to the country. Should you only... More
