Not much to do but relaxing - grab a coffee, enjoy the scenery of green pastures and they have cute items "cow-themed" but these can be purchased in Hualien too. Price of stuff here could be a little cheaper than that in Hualien.

I'm not sure what this place is supposed to offer aside from their own products and cows. Not worth the trip if you ask me.

I went to the farm twice, though there are only cows ans a few ostrichs, the place charges no entrance fees and dairy products in the farm are nice. I missed the place and is worth visiting if you come from modern city. Is not an everyday scene for you to face twenty something cows closely.

Stopped by this small ranch during my daytrip around the valley. This is the place for u if u like milk, cheese and diary products. Amazingly the number of cows were not much, yet they are able to produce such good quality milk and dairy product. Worth for a short stop.

It took some efforts to visit this ranch, I rated 3 stars as I found that there wasn't really anything much there. Only some cows and 2 arrogant ostriches. You gotta try their cheese cake though. To me that was the highlight of the trip, having said this, I found out that they have a branch in the city selling... More

Children definitely love this ranch for they can feed the cows and ostriches. Just that there are only cows and ostriches there. It was the milk products that more impressed the adults. Very fresh and yummy. Must try the milk and yogurt!

I have to write this cause I find this ranch an absolute waste of time. Travel time to and fro is 3 hours and you only get to see a few cows up close and 2 proud ostriches. If you wanna buy souvenirs or food available at the ranch, they have an outlet in town selling the same stuff. It... More

After getting up early to do the Taroko tour, the next day we decided to do a more leisurely trip to Ruisui to visit The Tropic of Cancer Visitor Centre and a hot spring. We took the 11.37 train from Hualien ($143 one way), then took a taxi to The Tropic, a short stop for photos, then on to Hongye... More
