Staying nearby at Liuhe, we passed the Dome of Light a total of 6 times. The art installation dominates the foyer of the MRT station just at the entrance of the Red and Orange lines. On one occasion we were fortunate to hear a pianist who added to the ambience. We did not manage to catch the light works which... More

At the foyer of the Formosa Boulevard Station. Colourful and attractive. There is a short light show at various times.

Very pleasant bike track along the beach. Rent a bike when getting off the ferry. Would also be suitable for a nice walk.

Just like another MRT station in Taiwan, the atmosphere is like being in the train station. The interesting view here is the dome of light. It is a glass work arts in the Formosa boulevard MRT station. It shows very beautiful design in colors.

Amazingly beautiful! It might be one of the most beautiful MRT station I'd ever seen. A pianist was playing at the time when I was there too. Spending 30 minutes just to sit down, listen to music and watch the light shining the dome was amazing to me!

Beautiful glass work at the Formosa Boulevard MRT, which is just one station from the Kaohsiung Train Station. A very convenient location and worth a visit during the less busy hours.

The Formosa Boulevard MRT Station serves both the "Red" Line and "Orange" Line and the only station that provides connection between the two lines. The station is accessible from multiple entrances on surface via stairs, escalators, and elevators. There is a beautiful glass art work located in the station known as "The Dome of Light". The artwork is accessible without... More

My wife and I (both 60 years old), were at Formosa Boulevard Station on December 19, 2016, in the very late evening. The exterior of the station - that was the thing attracted us to go inside. What we have discovered inside was shocking: the blast of art flying to our faces, streaming directly to our mind and soul. The... More
