You should go because it is very close to many attractive places. I walked though the road and I passed a lot of wonderful scenes.

It's free and near a bunch of other great things to see. This temple is absolutely massive and is still in use, so be respectful of worshipers if you go in.

This temple is amazing, used by locals to worship in, lots of offerings, incense, statues, ornate carvings. lots to see on each floor. Very colourful. Across the road from the Lake.

This temple is very busy because locals actually worship here. The altars were piled high with offerings - fruits, flowers, incense, . . . . Lots of steps to reach the entrance, and there were some pretty spectacular metal dragons artwork (5x5 foot pieces) between the 2 staircases. In addition there were some fierce looking dragon dogs standing guard. And... More

This temple is absolutely amazing, every different floor we visited offered something new and breath taking. We bought some incense for $NT5, lit it and then explored the other levels. The ceiling on the 3rd floor is absolutely incredible. Highly recommended if your going to the lake.
