The museum is easy to find and inexpensive to access. It has interesting artifacts and an assortment of paintings and crafts on sale on site. The taxidermist station / workshop is a must see. The promise of animals e.g. live snakes was a little disappointing...More

Great photos, but the place mostly seemed like one guy's chance to display his wildlife photos versus a real museum with a variety of interesting displays. Could use some work. Saw a snake feeding which was cool!

Many of the displays are old, but the specimens on display are impressive. Enjoying them depends on one's ability to focus on the artifacts rather than the lack of flashy displays and computerized interactive exhibits - you'll find none of that in this low-budget museum....More

Great museum with a strong conservation focus. The little gallery out the back is gold! The artists are always busy at work and you can do painting lessons with Simba (one of the very talented artists there).

Some interesting photos, very few artefacts (early tools and skulls) and lots of stuffed animals among signs calling us to protect animals.

This was pretty good. The displays are a bit old, the guide very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The best part was the taxidermy section, very cool to see. The art centre out the back was also good.

So much to see at the museum and was great to see a taxidermist at work! The place is a little run down but I dont think a lot of tourists go there
