Was not really impressed with this beach, jammed with loungers on some sections, better from the traffic circle north as there is beach between the water & chairs. The water can be clear or murky depending on the day, also lots of trash also. Visited...More

No, this beach isn't as lovely as others in Thailand but it wasn't as dirty as some reviewers have claimed and we witnessed an army of beach cleaners pass by dealing with what was there. The water is somewhat murky but I think this is...More

I will be brief. Bang Saen Beach had the same problem more and pore of Thailand’s beaches have - pollution. The waters edge leaves trash from the sea on the beach. It is humanities fault. We collectively just don’t learn and the inability to learn...More

The beach is popular with locals, who come over the weekend. They would sit facing away from the sea and eat excellent seafood available here. Water is dirty and the beach is not clean. Not recommended for those who want to enjoy the sea.

A nice place to relax by the beach for a weekend and not far away from the busy bangkok. Nice Thai food at the beach and you can even fire away some firework in the evening.

A long stretch of beach filled with seafood, umbrella covered chairs, colorful clothes. It’s a very nice place to get your beach dosis. Across the street are some very nice hotels, just know that these hotels, like the beach food and even the chairs, are...More

Every time I come to Bang Saen I am down to the beach. So much of life for the people of Bang Saen orbits around that beach. With all the food stalls, chair owners, the rubber ring renting places and market stalls along the beach,...More

Beautiful beach with something for everyone. Very large boardwalk with many vendors selling all kinds of great food and beach activities. Lots of public seating areas. Westerners need to be careful about prices, ask first.

I agree with Vince M - it would be better to get a hotel near the airport (there are lots of inexpensive ones that will pick you up from the airport) and travel the next day. If you do decide to travel to Bang Saen directly... More
