Visited the Tiger Zoo on a half day tour from out cruise ship MS V0llandam, it was advertised as a zoo of 100 acres over 200 tigers and 1000.000 crocodiles. We therefore expected wide open spaces with tigers and crocodiles in large open grassed areas,...More

Basically the hype about this place is well deserved. It is a huge concrete conglomerate with numerous kiosks and opportunities for photo shoots with some less than healthy looking animals. I crossed one off my bucket list and did the Tiger shoot. Nice pictures for...More

I don't know what they use to sedate the Tigers but the baby tiger could barely walk and I didn't like the way they were handling them. I got my pic but I wouldn't recommend the visit. It's a tiger zoo that has other animals...More

We were all looking forward to this trip and seeing Tigers in their glory. No such joy found. Crocodiles were sedated so much they were dragged by their tails to get out of the water! 5 of us walked out as we couldn't bare to...More

Pros: - lots of exotic animals, including tigers, crocodiles, camels, and the biggest pigs you've ever seen. Cons: - animal cruelty. The crocodiles in particular seem really poorly treated. They're hit and poked with sticks during the show, and dragged around by their tales. The...More
